Helsingborg, Sweden, May 30: Diksha Dagar and three other Indians will play in the Dormy Open Helsingborg on the Ladies European Tour. The Dormy Open is one of the two back-to-back events in Sweden.
Apart from Diksha, Tvesa Malik and Vani Kapoor will return to the event where all three made the cut and Diksha was Tied-eighth. Pranavi will be playing the event for the first time.
Diksha tees off with the defending champion and the local star, Lisa Pettersson and Chiara Tamburlini at the Allerum Golf Club. Last year Pettersson’s win was her maiden success.
In 2023, Diksha had one win in Czech Republic and eight other Top-10s which included T-8 in Helsingborg and third place finishes in German Masters and the Hero Women’s Indian Open. Later this season Diksha will play the AIG Women’s Open and also the Olympic Games in Paris.
In 2023 Pettersson carded 70-68-67 for a total of 11-under-par and she was 4-under for the last four holes including back-to-back birdies on 15 and 16 and an eagle on the 18th.
